Silver cross clic poor quality for price
I purchased a silver cross clic pushchair, I’ve had it for all of 3 month and the 5 point harness has already broken and now I’m unable to fasten my child in safely, I’ve contacted and all I’ve had in reply is them saying they’ll collect it and keep it for a week, repair it and send it back. Not really what I expected from my £250 push chair which is supposed to be durable and used on holidays/travelling it would not last! So now I’ll be without a pram for a week when I have appointments to get to and cannot afford a replacement whilst it’s being fixed. Poor quality for the price and probably paying for the name.. would not buy silver cross again.

Very dissapointed
I am really unhappy with my silver cross wave pushchair. I bought the bundle back in Feb before my baby was born and have now been using it for less than a month and have had a number of issues already. Firstly the car seat was broken, and would not always click into the iso fix base and then it would get stuck. They wanted a video as proof that there was something wrong which was difficult to do as I have a newborn and as the issue was intermittent I had to record everytime I put the car seat in and took it out. Eventually this was resolved and they replaced the car seat, although I had to continue using it until I was able to get a video as I had no alternative, but I was very concerned about the safety.

I also have a problem with the pushchair itself. It really wobbles as it's being pushed, like the wheels are wonky, and the more weight thats in the pushchair the more it wobbles. They collected it to sort this issue but when I received it back it was still the same, if not worse than before. Again they wanted a video, but the wobble does not show up on video. They said they can't do anything without a video. It is being collected again but I dont hold out much hope of them fixing it. There was no communication at all when it was away with what was wrong with it or what they had done to it. It just turned up.

I spent a lot of money on this set and have now been without a pushchair for a week and as they are collecting it again I won't have a pushchair again. Its not easy getting out the house with a newborn anyway let alone with no pushchair.

I feel very let down and quite angry that I have had to deal with this while being a new mum, you would expect for the price you pay it would be perfect, or at least easily sorted when there are issues.

Don’t even attempt pushing it on grass!
Purchased a silver cross pursuit travel system for my son for his birth in November. Overall very happy with the car seat, base etc however I have since purchase a pushchair from another brand and realised how terrible the silver cross was. It couldn’t bump up tiny half a centimetre curbs, don’t even try to push it on grass because it just doesn’t like it and would constantly get stuck on tiny things in its path. I realise I had been struggling along and that a pushchair system that is well over £1000 RRP should not have these problems…
Maybe try before you buy as a FTM I didn’t know what other pushchairs were like and jumped the gun ordering a silvercross with it being such a renowned brand!

Disappointed to say the least!
Sent my pursuit pram off for service & valeting, it needed a new bumper bar as it had been picked a fair amount, I wanted it to have a proper clean, have a new cushion & perhaps new wheels considering the price you’re paying for the service&valet (£125). It’s came back it has a new bumper bar, but this one is black it’s supposed to be light grey? It’s been cleaned, a new cushions been given- where baby sits to make it more comfortable for them. But that’s it? No new wheels?… no new anything apart from a seat cushion & bumper bar?? I read through the reviews & I felt really hopeful and paying that amount of money I would’ve thought I’d have got my moneys worth?? I Feel ripped off to say the least, I could’ve ordered these myself for a fraction of £125!

Recently my back bar broke on my reflex, and I was worried as it is an expensive pushchair and I had only had it a few months. The customer service from the first email was amazing, we were speaking to Julie and she was amazing and very professional. The pick up of my pushchair was very fast, I got informed that it was not able to be repaired and that a new one would be sent. I would definitely recommend silver cross because of the customer setvide I recieved. Thankyou Julie!! :)

Valet and service review
Iv had my silvercross pioneer since early 2017, have had 2 children use it and decided for my third due this month, I’d pay for the valet and service as it was a well used, loved pushchair.
I am so impressed with the results, first of all collection was prompt and DPD were very helpful helping me pack the pushchair up, I was told 7 working days to get it back and again the pushchair arrived on time with tracking.
I had a phone call before they took the pushchair to discuss what I needed doing most.
My bumper bar had the leather picked by the other 2 children, the pushchair needed a very good clean and I needed all the bearings sorted etc.
They have gone above and beyond! They changed the bar, changed my wheels, replaced the broken raincover, my seat is back to pure black, everything’s super clean, all attachments look brand new, bearings etc all sorted. The only thing that gives it away that it’s not a new pushchair is my chassis has marks as you’d expect. All this included in the original cost, I couldn’t be happier with the result! Well worth the money.
Any queries have been promptly responded to as well. Would 100% recommend.

Shockingly bad service
My dealings with silvercross have been nothing short of ridiculous. We placed an order on the 2nd of April at a baby exhibition here in Sydney. We were told it would be delivered mid May before receiving an email stating that delivery would be delayed by 2 months.

Trying to contact them from there was difficult to say the least, calling in thier 4 hour customer service timeframe multiple days to have nobody answer, time and time again. All the time we were waiting for a response to multiple emails where we requested a refund.
After 2 weeks we finally got a response confirming we would be refunded.

It's now week 5 and sill waiting for our refund. The general manager keeps telling us via email she'll look into it with no explanation as to why the funds have yet to be returned.
All the while my partner is at full term and we need the money to buy another pram as she could go in to labour at any day now.

Worrying about a refund should be the last thing on her mind.

Best Baby Brand on the Market!
We have used Silver Cross since our baby was born. We purchased the new born car seat (Simplicity). After that point looking at the quality of the build and comfort to our son we realised we wouldn't buy any other brand. When it came to a pram we opted for Silver Cross once again, as with the travel again Silver Cross and the next car seat up...yes Silver Cross. Honestly its the best brand out there, you can't fault it.
We recently had an issue with our car seat and contacted customer service. We managed to email a lovely member of staff (Amber Armstrong). The service we received from Amber was outstanding. Amber was extremely concerned about our issues and the comfort of our son and offered a replacement car seat even though ours was out of warranty. Which company would do that? I can tell you who...Silver Cross!
Cannot recommend them enough...if your hesitating, then don't just buy it, you won't regret it. If the staff who work there are half as good as Amber you'll be in great hands!

Valet and customer service appalling
I purchased my original silver cross wayfarer back in 2014 for my son now 7.
It was originally used for 12 months as it was convenient to be able to just clip the car seat on and then put into storage.
In March of this year I was expecting my second child so I took my old wayfarer out of storage. Unfortunately it needed a pretty good clean but other than that it was in excellent condition, very little cosmetic damage and it would last for our second baby.
My partner found out silver cross actually offer a valet service and safety check so we thought that's perfect! There are no better people to clean it and check it than the company that made it so we paid online and it cost £125 and arranged for it to be picked up in a few days time. ( this was back in January) at 4pm the day before it was meant to be collected I had a phone call to say they had missed the cut off to add it on to dpd to have it collected. This instantly annoyed me as we had given 3 or 4 days notice so there was absolutely no reason why it couldn't have been put on to be collected.
We arranged for it to be collected another day at a discounted rate due to their error from my work address. It took 3 more attempts after this for it to actually be collected as dpd kept pulling up to my work building, taking a picture of the outside and driving off without actually getting out of the van or contacting myself to come out to them to collect the travel system. (This was confirmed on cctv).
Eventually it was collected and taken away and re-dlivered a few days later. The end results were amazing! The whole thing looked like new. We used it for a few weeks when my son was born on the 24th of March and we seemed to have no issues.
However this has since changed when we took it out in the rain for the first time. Within seconds of the handle coming into contact with the rain a powdery residue started to appear on the handle and after a few minutes the leather was then peeling off the handle. I cleaned the rest of the residue off gently with a damp cloth and the peeling has since stopped but it now looks unsightly as half of the leather is missing.
I have contacted silver cross by email to inform them of the issue and provided pictures. They seem to deny there is an issue as their cleaner is eco friendly and would not cause the peeling.
They have offered what they consider to be a gesture of goodwill by offering to replace the black handle with a brown one which not only means it will not match the travel system and hood and apron we have but it also means that we would be without a pram for several days while they do it.
Overall the whole experience has been stressful and caused a great deal of anxiety. It has put us off ordering more silver cross products and the customer service we have received from a company that is supposed to have a good reputation is below acceptable.
Take your money to cosatto their customer service is so much better!
